What is it?
It is (not just) another from iUNIK serums collection, you remember their Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum, Black Snail Restore Serum, Tea Trea Relief Serum, Rose Galactomyces Synergy Serum and of course, Beta Glucan 98% Power Moisture Serum (and that beautiful Beta Glucan Daily Moisture Cream I reviewed here).
This one is infused with noni fruit extract along with other oils beneficial for the skin. The fact is this light oil serum is so light that has nothing to do with oiliness. Actually, it is anything but.
Jojoba, macadamia, argan, dog rose and finally olive oil would make you think of serum so thick, so oily and so for mature, dry skin, but texture of this serum is interestingly light. So light my skin needed more moisture with it. But first things first.
Noni. Small evergreen tree typical for Southeast Asia and Australia, Polynesia. It is traditionally used as folk medicine for almost anything and is considered very powerful remedy. It is believed to be almost magical and mythical herb and remedy to any disease.

However, there is also little to none scientifically proven efficacy of this plant. Nevertheless, it does have anti-oxidative and soothing benefits to the skin and that’s where my concern really is.
This is what iUNIK says about this serum:
The iUNIK Noni Light Oil Serum is formulated with noni fruit extract rich in powerful antioxidants to fight signs of aging. This serum also contains various plant oils including jojoba, macadamia, and olive oil to moisturize the skin and lock in the moisture. The unique blend of oil and fruit extract adds radiance to the skin while improving fine lines and wrinkles.
IUNIK Noni Light oil seurm is a new combination of oil and serum!
IUNIK light oil serum is applied as soft as oil and moistened instantly without that sticky oily feel. /iUNIK/
It comes in 50 ml /1.71 fl.oz. glass, typically iUNIK designed bottle with a pippete. It is white, viscous, but light liquid of very, very faint (almost none) scent. How to use it?
Take a few drops in the palms of your hands and apply over the face, neck and décolletage after cleansing and before moisturizing. To restore skin to its optimum beauty, use as a daily nourishing treatment. /iUNIK/
At first, I almost tried to treat this serum as a facial oil. Well, it’s not. Now I use it in any serum step in my skincare routines.

Wonderful list of ingredients.
Rosacea safe?
Yes. But, ofc you know, patch test and blah blah blah blah
Who is it for?
All skin types
Does it work?
Very, very smooth little serum! It won’t make my skin moisturized in an instant, it will not smooth out wrinkles, or nourish skin enough it wouldn’t need anything else. It will not. My dry hands (on purpose left not moisturized, aka better looking for this photo session) were nothing less dry after applying this serum.

This serum is just fine for any skin type, including very oily. Rest assured, this wouldn’t oil you up.
But, it would soothe my skin, it would support any other serum and moisturizer so nicely and work its wonder into the skin very quietly, but tirelessly.
The result is very subtle, but there. Happy skin. That’s the word. And I like it.
Thumbs up?
Yes!
