CosRX Low pH BHA Overnight Mask Review

What is it?

Face mask. Moisturizer. Exfoliator. Overnight treatment. Something you need when you want to wake up in the morning to smooth, brighter skin.

This is what CosRX says about it:

Low pH BHA Overnight Mask polishes away dullness and reveals your soft skin during the night. 0.9% BHA will help to reduce roughness and make skin complexion look healthier.

This product comes in sleek CosRX design plastic tube. Yes, I also thought when I saw it for the first time that this was apothecary metallic tube, but it’s not. Packaging is for convenient and hygienic use and travel friendly.

50 ml / 1.69 fl.oz. volume

pH 4.5 ± 1.0

White, balsamy, silicony feel cream with the anise scent exactly like CosRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad. Or their Oil-Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion with Birch Sap. Very pleasant and easy on the nose.

How to use it?

Apply proper amount of cream evenly on face.

For daytime usage, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.

※ Do not use BHA products if you are allergic to aspirin.

※ Must be used with sunscreen in daylight.

※ Do not use BHA Overnight Mask with any other highly concentrated AHA, BHA or Vitamin C products.

Although can be used both day and night, I have used this mask/moisturizer only as night treatment and sleeping pack.

Rosacea safe?

Yes. Check for possible allergies. Do the patch test first.

Who is it for?

All skin types.

Does it work?

Oh, yes it does. This is one of those products that are so good and kind to my skin that I had to restrain myself from overusing it. First week when introducing this mask to my routine was the hardest. Because I don’t ever use new product every day. I let my skin get used to it first and then gradually incorporate it to everyday skin regime. But, first time I used this one, I immediately noticed how my skin loved it. The next morning effect was brilliant. My skin was plump, bright and without blemishes. So imagine my struggle not to put it on the face the very next night.

I am now using it every other night. And it’s still good and giving. I think you can tell in every word of mine how much this product made me like it.

Texture of this mask is particularly satisfying under the fingers. Silicon smooth cream glides over the skin easily and leaves no visible trace. It is pleasant for overnight use as it is not heavy or sticky at all. Graveyard shift hard worker.

Slikovni rezultat za funny skin care cartoons

After almost the whole month of using Low pH BHA Overnight Mask, I notice my pores are less visible and overall complexion is in much better condition. Less red, less bumpy. No pore congestion whatsoever.

Ok, I am starting to see a pattern here. I like CosRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad, I love CosRX Oil-Free Ultra Moisturizer and I definitely love this mask. Must be that scent. Of course I’m joking but maybe there’s something to it.

Thumbs up?
